Why Do People Want to Work With Me

Our business is in the construction supply industry specifically categorized to as a distribution company. Over the last eleven months, certain things came in as success unexpectedly, serendipity? Isn’t it? And had thought twice whether this is for real! But of course it is. Though closing deals in the red ocean is really really hard, it takes certain innovativeness to make it. So here I am sharing to you things that I had documented on why do people want to work with me.

I Do Set Appointment for Meetings

Take note of the word “meetings” not “meeting”. When others had visited the potential account once, I had visited them twice or thrice or even more already. In my own judgment, this would enable them to think that I am serious about the deal and most importantly I am serious about them.

I Do Offer a Fair Deal

When offering a deal it must be a win-win situation for both parties involved. A hundred bucks of a deal for a year worth of service is disadvantageous to the business. To be able to capitalize on this element, here lies the importance of business intelligence - gathering information critical for decision making such has who is our competitor, how much is their offer among others. An offer that is not too low or too high, just fair enough.

I Give Constant and Short Updates

People want to work with me because of my ability to constantly communicate. I do give short updates from time to time regarding their purchases. A short SMS will normally do for a short update. An important lesson to note in this category is that client does not get upset because we are unable to get things done, but they do get upset because of failure from us to inform them earlier of what really happened. For short, they get upset because we kept them hanging.

I Do Admit My Mistake

By admitting you had done something wrong is important because it will forever be the only way for you to move on. When you move on fast, you get to resolve issues quickly. When you start not to face it and become a scapegoat, it will cause delay in resolving issues. Dragging happens.

I Don’t Get Lost After a Closed Deal

For me this is the very most important, we do have lots of principal whom we cannot hear about for months or years after a deal has been closed. When I engaged, I do make sure that whatever problems or issues that may arise before or after a deal has been closed I am their for them.

You, why do people want to work with you I would like to hear that through this blog’s comment facility.
